Mr. John Appea joined the Company in July 2003 as Deputy Manager but within ten (10) months was promoted to the position of Head Finance and Administration Department following the resignation of the then substantive Head. He held the position of Head of Finance and Administration from 2004 to 2019 then following the expansion, the administartion function was decoupled and the department redesignated the Finance Department.
Mr. Appea holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast and a Diploma in Education. Has pursued an MBA Finance (research work outstanding) Programme from the Wisconsin International University College. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, (ICAG), has obtained two (2) Post Chartered Diplomas in IFRS and Forensic Audit from ICAG and also attended numerous courses in Financial Accounting, Taxation, General Management, Organizational Development (OD) and Property Management.
Before joining MMC Property Management Ltd, John had worked for over six years with other organizations such as Ayew Agyeman Turkson & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and Greater Accra Poultry Farmers Association (a Manufacturing Concern). He enjoys reading and sightseeing.
